Terms & Conditions for Event Submission

Designed to protect our platform’s reputation and legally shield us from liability if an organiser posts misleading information.

By submitting an event (conference, workshop, webinar, or training) to Conference Spectrum, you (the "Organiser" or "Submitter") agree to the following terms:

01

Accuracy of Information

The Submitter guarantees that all information provided—including dates, venues, registration fees, and academic indexing (Scopus, WoS, etc.)—is accurate, current, and truthful.

Any deliberate attempt to provide false or misleading information will result in a permanent ban of the Submitter’s account and the immediate removal of all associated listings.

02

Verification and Approval Rights

Conference Spectrum reserves the right to:

  • Review and Validate: Manually verify any event through third-party databases, institutional contacts, or website domain analysis.
  • Reject or Remove: Decline any submission that does not meet our quality standards, appears predatory, or lacks sufficient institutional backing, without prior notice.
  • Edit for Clarity: Make minor typographical or formatting edits to submissions to ensure they meet the platform's aesthetic and SEO standards.
03

Academic Integrity & Anti-Predatory Policy

Conference Spectrum is committed to the "Single Source of Truth" mission. We strictly prohibit the listing of "Predatory Conferences."

By submitting, you affirm that the event is organised by a legitimate academic or professional body and that any claims regarding "Peer Review" or "Journal Publication" are genuine.

04

Intellectual Property

By uploading logos, flyers, or banners, the Submitter grants Conference Spectrum a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, resize, and promote this media across our website, social media channels, and email newsletters for the purpose of promoting the event.

05

Limitation of Liability

Conference Spectrum acts solely as an aggregator and discovery platform. We are not responsible for the organisation, management, or eventual cancellation of any event listed.

  • We are not liable for any financial losses incurred by users (attendees) or organisers resulting from the use of the platform.
  • The Submitter agrees to indemnify Conference Spectrum against any legal claims arising from the content of their event listing.
06

Fees and Payments

Basic Listings: Standard event submissions are currently free.

Third-Party Payments: Conference Spectrum is not responsible for processing registration fees for the event. All financial transactions between attendees and organisers occur outside our platform.

07

Data Privacy

Information collected in the "Organiser Identity" section (official emails and phone numbers) will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. While public event details are visible to all, internal contact person details will not be sold to third parties.

08

User Conduct and Flagging

Organisers acknowledge that users of Conference Spectrum have the right to "Flag" or "Report" an event. If an event receives multiple reports of fraud or unprofessionalism, Conference Spectrum will suspend the listing pending an investigation.
